How To Be a Fair Person  

Your thoughts and actions are fair when they are based without prejudice
and take into consideration all sides of an issue.

·            Treat people the way you want
 to be treated

 

·            Don't take advantage of other people.

·            Take Turns

·            Play by the rules

·            Listen to people with an open mind.

·            Don't blame others for your mistakes.

·            Tell the truth                                                 

·            Don't play favorites.           

·            Think about how your actions will affect others.                                    

Family Activities

·            Go to a sporting event see how the rules are the same for each team

·            Play a board game with the family

Family Discussions

·            Is fairness important? Why?

·            Can you think of a time from your life when something was fair

and a time when something was unfair?

·            What makes things unfair? How did it feel when things were unfair?

·            Can things always be made fair?

·            How can we try to make things fair in our class/school/country/world?

·            Review a historical issue like civil rights.
