Ron Blocker - Superintendent of Orange County Public Schools

"The 2003-2004 school year is the fifth year of Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) participation in a Partner in Education relationship with Learning for Life. We have 30 schools throughout Orange County that participate and over 21,000 students who benefit from the various programs offered.

It is with great pleasure that I endorse the continued partnership between OCPS and the Learning for Life program. This program has proven to be beneficial to both students and staff. With the help of this program, the partnership schools provide students with lessons in character education, respect and responsibility as well as helping to boost self esteem. This program has also proven to be a benefit in complimenting the curriculum used by teachers of students who suffer from behavior disorders. This innovative public-private partnership has more than proven itself in making a difference in the lives of students and staff within Orange County."

Jolie Johnson - Behavior Specialist, Columbia Elementary School
